Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a message offered condolence to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
In the message, President Hamid Karzai has expressed his deep concern and sadness over Israeli military attacks on Gaza Strip causing hundreds of innocent civilians martyred and thousands of others displaced and as follows:
“As representative of the people of Afghanistan, I offer my deep condolence and sympathy to you and the people of Palestine. While the people of Afghanistan were sharing in sadness and grief of Palestinians, they strongly condemned brutal attacks of Israel and its bombardments.
Dear brother,
As sign of solidarity with Palestinian brothers in this hard time, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is granting $500,000 for assistance to victims of recent Israeli attacks in Gaza.
