Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met yesterday with members of Zabul provincial council and a number of the province’s elders and dignitaries.
In the meeting held at Sapidar palace, Zabul elders and members of provincial council shared current problems facing the people of the province with chief executive. Complaining of construction of customhouse by Taliban in the province, they asked the government for prevention of the Taliban custom in the province. Members of Zabul provincial council and elders also demanded fundamental reforms in local government, maintaining security, serious counter corruption, making use of Zabul cadres in government structures, development of education process and addressing other problems of the province’s residents. After hearing demands and suggestions of Zabul elders, the country’s chief executive instructed relevant organs to adopt necessary measures in connection with construction of customhouse by Taliban in the province.
