Safeguarding Worthies Gained In Recent Decade, Govt. Basic Priorities, Khalili

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president met with some elders of Ghazni and Bamyan province the other day.
He told them the government of Afghanistan is ready for any type of decisive struggle against crisis and probable challenges that will threaten security, prosperity and unity of the people and shall not refrain from any efforts for preservation of new values.
He said this to the elders and representatives of Daimerdad, First and Second Part of Behsud and Jalraiz districts of Maidan/Wardak, and the elders of Khwat, Nahur district of Ghazni province and members of the social shura of the area.
The elders called the achievements of the government and the people in the past ten years towards unity and observance of human rights, expansion and democracy, freedom, good governance, eradication of violence and respect to residents’ rights, expansion of development as very important and emphasized on their preservation.
They also shared the problems of their respective areas with Khalili and asked government attention for ensuring of security on the highways, and added that there is need for strict government measures for maintaining security on the highways that is disrupting people’s security.
They also asked government measures towards expansion and reconstruction in their areas.
Khalili while emphasizing on unity and unanimity among the people of Afghanistan preservation of values attained in the past decade, and said that focusing on resolving people’s problems is basic priorities of the government.
