Kabul (BNA) In clashes in relevant areas of Emam Sahib of Kunduz and outskirt of Maimana capital of Faryab province nine armed Taliban killed and three others wounded.
The first clash occurred while a group of armed Taliban wanted to attack on vehicles carrying passengers in Maimana city capital of Faryab province.
Military publication deputy chief of Faryab province said BNA, in the clash five armed insurgents killed and another injured.
According to him, there were no casualties among civilians and Afghan security forces.
The second clash occurred in Emam Sahib of Kunduz province after Afghan forces attacked on a hideout of armed rebels.
A local official of Emam-Sahib said BNA, in the clash four armed Taliban killed and another wounded.
He claimed that, the security forces captured an amount of heavy and light weapons at the end of the operation.
