President Ghani Seeks Women’s Role In Children Education

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani attended a ceremony which was held to celebrate International Women’s Day in Salam Khana palace here the other day, a presidential statement said.
In the ceremony, the first lady congratulated the world women solidarity day to all Afghan women, adding that special hospital and a court would be established to address the cases of women. In the ceremony two women representing others, briefed the President on ongoing challenges ahead of the country’s women. After hearing the participant’s speeches, the president congratulated the international women day to all Afghan women, adding that that this day makes us to discuss women’s problems and to find solutions for them. “Afghan woman working as the minister, lawmaker, lawyer, doctor, engineer, police, in other fields and in term of social and political the Afghan women playing important role. The women role will be also highlighted in peace talks,” the president said, thanking those women who have tried and educated their children. The president said that any violence against women are castaway and is not included in Islam or any other culture, adding that the special cabinet meeting and the meeting among three forces of the government would focus on challenges and problems ahead of the country’s women.
