Twenty-Five Rebels Kill

Lashkrga (BNA) Twenty-five armed rebels were killed in a clash with security troops in Gereshk district of Helmand province.
Colonel, Hekmatullah Haqmal police chief of Gereshk district of Helmand said, the rebels were killed yesterday in Malger area, Gereshk district by security forces.
Haqmal added, about three armed rebels entered from Naharsaraj to Malger area and clashed with police, in which twenty-five rebels were killed and the bodies of eleven attackers remained in the spot.
According to the source, a suicide bomber was also killed in the clash.
Five weapons, six motorcycles, a car full of explosives and 150 mines were seized.
According to Haqmal, two policemen were martyred and three other have been wounded in the clash.
