SAR-E-PUL CITY (BNA) Nine members of Taliban terrorist group have been surrendered to Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Sar-e-Pul province.
Naqibullah Daqiq district governor of Sancharak told BNA correspondent, the insurgents members of Mawlavi Mehdi Mujahid shadow district governor of Taliban for Balkhab district, Sar-e-Pul have been surrendered to ANDSF with their hand weapons in Aab Kalan region, Sancharak district of the province.
Mohammad Zaman a tribal elder in Sancharak district says, security situation will be improved by surrendering the Taliban fighters to Afghan security forces.
Mohammad Zaman asked all Taliban members to joined with government and participate in Afghansitan’s reconstruction.
