KABUL (BNA) Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the Malaysian Foreign Minister’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Dato Ahmad Azam Abdul Rahman, on Saturday.
Trade, economic cooperation, banking, education, and other issues of mutual interest were discussed between sides, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Afghan Foreign Minister Muttaqi said that there is a good opportunity for investment in Afghanistan.
He asked the delegation to cooperate with Afghans in education and capacity building in addition to Islamic banking.
The Malaysian delegation on his part said they will continue to communicate with the Afghan government and will make full efforts to meet their demands.
According to the Foreign Ministry statement, the Malaysian delegation further cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in the future.
