Work Begins on Three Key Projects Worth Over $1 Million USD in Paktika
PAKTIKA(BNA): Paktika provincial authorities have announced the launch of three major public welfare projects in Wazikhwa district, valued at $1.3 million, aimed at enhancing local infrastructure and services in the region.
A representative from the Jalal Trading Foundation reported to BNA that the construction of a commercial market, a healthcare center, and a central mosque has begun in Wazikhwa district and is expected to be completed in the near future. He added that the commercial market will be a single floor structure with 200 shops.
He further mentioned that the implementation of these projects will address the health and other various needs of the residents of Wazikhwa district, while also creating job opportunities for the local people.
Meanwhile, the deputy governor of Paktika, Mawlawi Makhdoom Saadat, expressed gratitude to the Jalal Trading Foundation and stated: “Several projects are currently being implemented in this province, and we aim to execute various other projects across Paktika in the future.”
It is worth noting that under the rule of the Islamic Emirate, reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts are progressing rapidly throughout the country.
