UNICEF Donates Essential Supplies to Enhance Healthcare in Samangan

 

SAMANGAN(BNA): UNICEF has made a significant contribution to the healthcare sector in Samangan by donating medical and non-medical supplies valued at over 5 million Afghanis.

This generous aid package was officially handed over to the Samangan Public Health Directorate during a ceremony attended by Mullah Mohebullah Bahari, the Head of Public Health in the region.

According to a press release from the Media Office of the Ministry of Public Health, the donation includes 105 different types of essential supplies. These resources are set to be distributed across 47 health centers in seven districts of Samangan, aiming to enhance the quality of healthcare services available to the local population.

The support from UNICEF underscores the organization’s commitment to improving health outcomes in Afghanistan, particularly in underserved areas like Samangan. With these supplies, health centers will be better equipped to meet the needs of their communities, ultimately contributing to better health and well-being for residents.
