Public Health Minister Engages with Belarusian Health Officials to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

KABUL(BNA): Acting Minister of Public Health Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali met with Alexander Starovitov, the Deputy Minister of Food and Medicine of Belarus. The meeting, held recently, focused on critical issues such as the procurement of medicines, bilateral cooperation, and the capacity building of health personnel.
During the discussions, Minister Jalali emphasized the importance of acquiring quality medicines and medical equipment to ensure standard health services for the Afghan population. “We need quality medicines and medical equipment for standard health services, and based on good bilateral relations, we can move forward in this field,” he stated.
The Ministry of Public Health has been actively pursuing strong bilateral relations with various countries to enhance and standardize Afghanistan’s health system. The collaboration with Belarus is part of these efforts, aiming to improve healthcare delivery and ultimately benefit the citizens of Afghanistan.
