Over 3,000 Migrants Returned from Iran to the Country in Past 24 hours

KABUL (BNA): Over the past 24 hours, 3,399 migrants returned to the country from Iran through Islam Qala border in Herat and Pul-e-Abreshim in Nimruz, both forcibly and voluntarily.

According to information from the Islam Qala border authorities, 1,628 individuals returned to the country via Islam Qala, and 1,771 individuals returned via Pul-e-Abreshim border.

According to the source, among the individuals, who included families and single people, 818 of them were identified as needing assistance and were introduced to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to receive food and non-food items.
