New Food and Beverage Production Company Launched in Farah

FARAH (BNA): A new food and beverage production company named Delchasb was inaugurated in Farah province by a national trader, with an investment of $220,000.

At the opening ceremony, Hafiz Shams-ul-Haq Ajmal, the Head of the Farah Industry and Commerce Department, highlighted the substantial facilities provided for national traders in the fields of investment and raw materials. He encouraged entrepreneurs to take advantage of these opportunities and acquire production company licenses. Ajmal noted that Farah is home to approximately 40 manufacturing factories, each employing around 50 workers. He also urged companies to focus on maintaining product quality and adhering to environmental standards.

Jawad Ghafoori, a national trader and the head of Delchasb, stated that the company, established with a $220,000 investment, has the capacity to produce 2,500 packages of mineral water and beverages daily. Currently, the company employs 40 young workers.

Ghafoori called on the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to provide support in areas such as electricity, tax reductions, marketing assistance, and ensuring security for investors and national traders.
