KABUL (BNA): Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, provided details regarding a clash between the Islamic Emirate forces and Pakistani forces at the Torkham border in Nangarhar.
He stated that yesterday afternoon, Pakistani border forces opened fire on the Afghan border forces in the Gorki area along the Durand Line. In response, two Pakistani posts were destroyed.
Qani added that in this incident, civilian homes were targeted by Pakistani forces, resulting in the martyrdom of a woman and two children.
The spokesman emphasized that the Islamic Emirate’s security forces are always ready to defend their territory and will respond to any illegal actions.
