Ministry of Mines and Petroleum Holds Tender for 10,000 Tons of Lead and Zinc in Bamyan

 

KABUL(BNA): The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has organized a tender process for the sale of 10,000 tons of lead and zinc in Bamyan province.

According to a statement from the Ministry, the tender session for the sale of the 10,000 tons of lead and zinc from the Gunda Kotal area in Yakawlang district of Bamyan was held with the presence of Mawlawi Hesamuddin Saberi, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, along with several senior officials, the appointed committee, participating companies, and media representatives.

In his remarks, the Deputy Minister emphasized the collective responsibility to serve the nation with dedication, transparency, and integrity. He urged the proper utilization of available resources to contribute to the development of the country’s infrastructure and to improve the livelihoods of its citizens.

Following the evaluation of 41 bidders, the Dr. Anwari Achak Helmandi Mining Company was awarded the contract to extract and sell 10,000 tons of lead and zinc, with a bid of 28,995 Afghanis per ton.
