Ministry of Commerce Reviews Export Performance with Afghanistan Trade Attachés in Russia

KABUL(BNA): The Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce emphasized providing greater facilities for the country’s export goods in a meeting with Afghanistan Trade Attachés in Russia.

The press office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce reported today that Deputy Minister Ahmadullah Zahid held an online meeting with the ministry’s trade attachés.

In this meeting, the trade attachés provided information on Afghanistan’s export levels to respective countries compared to the previous year, their activities regarding exports, market analysis for Afghan export goods, interest from citizens in countries where the Islamic Emirate has trade attachés, and the encouragement of traders and investors to invest in Afghanistan. They also presented specific and technical proposals to increase exports.

The Deputy Minister, after listening to their reports and suggestions, emphasized the need to provide greater facilities for the country’s export goods, achieve trade balance, and address traders’ problems promptly while ensuring active marketing for export products.
