BALKH(BNA): A local factory has made a significant leap in automotive manufacturing by introducing two new car models, backed by an investment of 6 million Afghanis, the announcement was made by Habibullah Barakzai, the head of Amin Noor Company.
The factory, known for its production of twelve types of vehicles, including cargo bicycles, is expanding its portfolio with the addition of these new models. The vehicles will feature both electric and petrol options, aiming to cater to a diverse market.
In addition to cars, the factory also manufactures four types of 24-volt batteries, which are distributed across 20 provinces in Afghanistan. This diversification not only supports local transportation but also contributes to the renewable energy sector.
The introduction of these new vehicles is expected to create a buzz in the market, with plans for a timely launch. Furthermore, the factory has been a significant employer in the region, providing both direct and indirect job opportunities for around 500 individuals.
