KABUL(BNA): The Municipality of Lashkar Gah has successfully completed three significant road construction projects in the provincial capital, with a total investment of 39 million Afghanis.
During a ceremony held to commemorate the completion, Mawlawi Abdullah Rohani, Mayor of Lashkar Gah, highlighted that the projects cover a total distance of 5,760 meters across the city. He emphasized that the construction was completed within the planned timeframe and has now been officially inaugurated.
He also noted that these new roads are expected to greatly reduce traffic accidents and provide substantial improvements in accessibility for both residents and drivers.
Expressing appreciation for the municipal services, several residents of Lashkar Gah stated that the newly built roads have not only reduced traffic incidents but also enhanced the overall convenience for vehicles and pedestrians.
