Khost Initiates Major Road and Drainage Projects, Totaling AFN 18.3 Million

 

KHOST(BNA): Officials from the Khost Municipality have announced the initiation of two projects in the province, with a total investment of 18.3 million Afghanis.

Qari Bismillah Bilal, the Khost mayor, informed Bakhtar News Agency that the projects include road construction and drainage systems. Specifically, 12.5 million Afghanis will be allocated for roads and drainage systems extending 660 meters north and south of the Sargardan Square. Additionally, 5.8 million Afghanis will fund the construction of a 265-meter road and a 530-meter drainage system in the second district. The municipal authorities officially launched these projects today.

Mayor Bilal also noted that this year, the municipality plans to implement 32 projects in the province, with a total budget of 390 million Afghanis.

Worth to mention that, under the Islamic Emirate’s administration, reconstruction and development activities are progressing rapidly across the country.
