Khost Ceremony Highlights Islamic Emirate’s Commitment to Development

KHOST(BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs, underscored the Islamic Emirate’s dedication to fostering development in Afghanistan during a recent ceremony at the Jihad Madrasa.
The event, which featured the ceremonial tying of headscarves for students, served as a platform for Mawlavi Abdul Kabir to articulate the government’s vision for strengthening ties with regional and global entities rooted in Islamic principles.
“We have established relations grounded in our faith to address challenges and fortify our system,” Kabir stated, emphasizing the importance of enhancing Afghanistan’s international relations in light of ongoing criticism of the current regime. He called for the sharing of reformist ideas with relevant institutions to bolster these efforts.
He also addressed concerns regarding Afghanistan’s place on the global stage, asserting, “Currently, the world is not concerned about Afghan soil,” while reaffirming the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to the continuous development of the nation.
The ceremony was attended by a range of prominent figures, including Sheikh Mohammad Faqir Mohammadi, Deputy Minister of Encouraging Righteousness, Forbidding Evil and Hearing Complaints, and Maulvi Mohammad Nabi Omari, Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs. Local officials, religious scholars, university professors, and members of the public were also present, reflecting broad support for the Islamic Emirate’s initiatives.
