Islamic Emirate Strives to Provide Advanced Medical Facilities for Hospitals: Hanafi

KABUL (BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, has announced a commitment to enhance medical facilities and recruit specialist doctors across the nation’s hospitals.

In a meeting with representatives from Ariana Medical Complex, Amiri Medical Complex, Cure Hospital, and French Hospitals for Children, Hanafi discussed the current state of private hospitals and their future plans.

Dr. Abdul Wahid Sadiqi, the head of Ariana Private Hospital, highlighted the services provided by specialist doctors in these hospitals.

Dr. Sadiqi pointed out the lack of advanced medical equipment and facilities, which hinders the treatment of certain diseases. He emphasized that providing these facilities domestically would not only enable the treatment of such diseases but also save resources by reducing the need for patients to travel abroad.

The Islamic Emirates authorities were urged to focus on the health sector, particularly in educating specialist doctors, supplying standard medical equipment, and developing health centers across the country.

Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi views health services as a fundamental commitment of the Islamic Emirates and an essential need for the people.

He affirmed the Islamic Emirates’ dedication to delivering healthcare services that meet international standards to the Afghan people. This includes efforts to equip hospitals with advanced medical facilities and hire qualified doctors.

He further stated that Afghanistan’s workforce across various sectors is a valuable asset to the nation. He says that through coordination and collaboration, the country can progress, and the people can overcome challenges.
