Islamic Emirate Engages with UN Agencies

KABUL(BNA): In a pivotal fourth high-level coordination meeting, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and United Nations agencies discussed crucial developments in economic stability, private sector growth, and counter-narcotics initiatives.
The meeting was led by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, who emphasized that Afghanistan has made significant strides in these vital areas.
Minister Muttaqi highlighted the importance of international assistance to bolster Afghanistan’s progress, urging that such support be tailored to meet the specific needs of the Afghan people. He stressed that this assistance should be structured to ensure long-term benefits for the nation, fostering sustainable growth and stability.
