Islamic Emirate Emphasizes Regional Security in Meeting with Chechen Delegation

 

KABUL(BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, met with a high-level delegation from Chechnya at the Sepadar Palace on Wednesday.

The delegation, which included Amrov Jambulatt, the head of the Chechen Academy of Sciences, and the deputy head of the Council of Nationalities of Russia, arrived in Afghanistan on behalf of the Chechen president and the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, Jambulatt expressed his satisfaction with the visit and highlighted the importance of strengthening relations between Afghanistan and Russia in scientific, religious, cultural, and economic fields. He emphasized his commitment to fostering positive ties between the two countries.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the commonalities Islamic countries share with Afghanistan in religious, cultural, and social aspects. He expressed hope for the development of these commonalities through mutual cooperation.

Deputy PM Mawlavi Kabir noted Russia’s expertise in infrastructure development and conveyed hopes that it could play a significant role in Afghanistan’s reconstruction efforts. He also stated that the Islamic Emirate views its national interests as intrinsically linked to regional security and stability.

Concluding his remarks, Mawlavi Kabir reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s desire for interaction with regional and global nations while emphasizing on Islamic and national values.
