KABUL(BNA): In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan condemned the recent attack by unidentified gunmen on coal mine workers in the Duki area of Balochistan, Pakistan. The tragic incident resulted in the deaths of 20 individuals, including four Afghan nationals.
The Ministry expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims, highlighting the need for regional safety and security. It urged the Pakistani government to implement necessary measures to prevent such horrific events in the future.
Additionally, the Consulate General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Quetta has been instructed to facilitate the transfer of the bodies of the deceased Afghans back to their homeland, ensuring that their families can honor their memories appropriately.
