Interior Minister Highlights Wakhan Corridor’s Significance in Meeting with Chinese Ambassador

KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Interior has announced that Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani held discussions with Zhao Xing, China’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, on a range of significant topics during a meeting at his office yesterday, Monday.

According to a statement shared by the ministry’s spokesperson on X, the two sides deliberated on the strategic importance of the Wakhan Corridor, expanding trade relations, and increasing passenger flight operations.

Additionally, both sides emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation further and underscored the importance of taking practical steps toward achieving shared objectives.
