Inauguration of Martyrs’ Minaret, Mosque, and Gate in Balkh

BALKH(BNA): A ceremony was held to inaugurate the Martyrs’ Minaret, a mosque, and a gate named after the martyr Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor. The event took place on the route to Hairatan and was attended by local officials and community leaders.
Mawlavi Noor Hadi Abu Idris, the deputy governor of Balkh province, emphasized the importance of the sacrifices made by Mujahideen in establishing the current Islamic system and ensuring nationwide security. He called for stronger cooperation between the people and the Islamic Emirate in various fields.
Sheikh Abdul Jalil Shahid Khel, head of the Balkh Ulema Council, praised the unprecedented sacrifices of the Mujahideen, stating that these efforts have eliminated various prejudices, allowing the community to unite under a single system.
The construction of the minaret, mosque, and gate spanned five jeribs of land and was funded by national businessmen at a cost of 15 million Afghanis. The project was completed within a year, marking a significant achievement for the region.
