Humanitarian Aid Begins Flowing into Gaza Following Ceasefire Agreement

KABUL(BNA): Humanitarian aid has begun to enter the Gaza Strip. Within just 24 hours of the agreement, a total of 630 trucks carrying essential supplies crossed into Gaza.

Tom Fletcher, the Deputy Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations, confirmed the influx of aid during a press briefing. He noted that 300 of these trucks were dispatched to northern Gaza, an area that had been largely cut off from humanitarian assistance for over a year due to restrictions imposed by the occupying regime.

Despite the positive developments at the border, a significant backlog of aid remains at the Rafah crossing between Palestine and Egypt. Numerous convoys from the United Nations, various countries, international organizations, and charitable foundations are currently waiting for opportunities to deliver their supplies into Gaza.
