PANJSHIR(BNA): The return of former government officials to Panjshir is steadily increasing. Notably, General Mohammad Rajab, the former head of the Salang Maintenance and Protection Department, has recently returned to his home in Panjshir province.
Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the Governor of Panjshir, warmly welcomed General Mohammad Rajab in his office.
During the meeting, Governor Hakim emphasized that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, by declaring a general amnesty, has aimed to eliminate all hostility and bring unity among all citizens under an Islamic system. He stressed that the era of conflict is over and urged everyone to participate in the reconstruction and development of the country.
Governor Hakim assured General Mohammad Rajab that he can move freely in Panjshir without any issue. He also emphasized that all local officials would support him in resolving any problems he might encounter.
Meanwhile, General Mohammad Rajab expressed his appreciation for the Islamic Emirate’s policies and mentioned that he has been living in Kabul with his family since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate and has not left the country.
He further praised the current security and stability in Afghanistan, noting that despite some individuals spreading false propaganda for personal gain, these efforts will not succeed. He noted that the Afghan people can now clearly see the positive changes under the Islamic system, reaffirming their support for the nation’s progress and development.
