Ghor Climbers Summit the Highest Peak of Safed Koh

GHOR(BNA): A six-member mountaineering team from Ghor province conquered the highest peak of the Safed Koh “White Mountain”, reaching an impressive altitude of 3,280 meters in just one day.

The expedition was organized by the National Federation of Mountaineering in collaboration with the provincial Department of Physical Education and Sports.

The climb not only showcases the team’s determination and skill but also aims to enhance the physical strength of the climbers and prepare them for upcoming national competitions.

According to the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, this achievement marks a significant milestone for the province and highlights the growing interest in outdoor and competitive sports among local athletes.
