Farah Engine Oil Company Expands Production Amid Promising Investment Climate

FARAH(BNA): The Farah Engine oil Company is making significant strides in the engine oil manufacturing sector, achieving a daily production rate of 12 tons.
This capacity not only meets local demand but also facilitates exports to other provinces. Zalmai Noorzai, the company’s head, reported that their engine oil, classified as cc. sc to c14, is designed for durability, with circulation capabilities ranging from 1,500 to 3,100 kilometers.
Currently, the company operates with a 175kW power generator supplemented by 65kW of solar energy and a workforce of 16 employees. Noorzai expressed optimism that with the provision of additional electricity, the company could enhance its operations. Plans are in place to expand production, potentially creating 50 new jobs and further boosting the local economy.
In a related development, the head of industrial parks at the Farah Department of Industry and Commerce, highlighted a growing investment climate in the province.
He assured that the issues previously faced by investors have been addressed, paving the way for national businessmen and investors to explore opportunities across various sectors in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Emirate.
