KABUL(BNA): Acting Minister of Energy and Water, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, inaugurated two significant infrastructure projects in Samangan Province, with a combined investment exceeding 71 million Afghanis.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mullah Mansoor emphasized that six check dams were constructed at a cost of 44 million Afghanis, aimed at enhancing water management and reducing soil erosion. Additionally, the Espand Sai Reservoir, with a capacity to store 100,000 cubic meters of water, was completed through a private investment of 27 million Afghanis, funded by a prominent national entrepreneur.
Minister Mullah Mansoor also highlighted ongoing efforts in the construction of several major dams across Afghanistan, reaffirming the government’s commitment to advancing water infrastructure projects critical for the nation’s development.
