Deputy PM Mawlawi Hanafi Explores Bukhara’s Cultural Ties During Uzbekistan Visit

 

KABUL(BNA): Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, continued his official visit to Uzbekistan by exploring the cultural and historical landmarks of Bukhara province.

According to a statement from ARG, Mawlawi Hanafi also met with the Governor of Bukhara, Batur Zarifov. During their meeting, Zarifov highlighted the strong cultural and historical ties between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, emphasizing that these shared legacies could further strengthen bilateral relations under the leadership of both nations.

Mawlawi Hanafi expressed gratitude for Uzbekistan’s hospitality and acknowledged the two countries’ shared Islamic cultural and historical significance. He noted that leveraging these commonalities could enhance mutual ties to an unprecedented level.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, Mawlawi Hanafi held meetings with several senior Uzbek officials as part of his ongoing visit.
