Deputy PM Mawlawi Abdul Kabir Leads Delegation to Iran for Presidential Inauguration

 

KABUL(BNA) – Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has embarked on an official visit to Iran to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony.

According to a statement from ARG, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir is leading a high-level delegation on an official visit to Iran, following an invitation from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the three-day visit, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir will attend the inauguration ceremony of Masoud Pezeshkian, the newly elected President of Iran, and hold meetings with several Iranian officials.

The statement added that discussions will focus on strengthening political and economic relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, addressing issues faced by Afghan refugees in Iran, and expanding bilateral cooperation.

Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs is scheduled to meet with representatives and officials from various countries during the visit.
