Deputy PM Hanafi Meets Provincial Figures to Discuss Security and Social Issues

KABUL(BNA): Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, convened a meeting with a group of mujahideen and prominent figures from the provinces of Jawzjan and Kunduz.

During the meeting, mujahideen and influential figures discussed social, economic, and security issues. They presented reports to the attention of Deputy PM Hanafi, on local authorities’ efforts in ensuring security, maintaining peace, and delivering services. Additionally they expressed satisfaction with the joint efforts of Islamic Emirate’s officials and mujahideen in addressing these concerns.

They also urged officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to prioritize education, establish health clinics, improve transportation infrastructure, initiate development projects, and generate employment opportunities for youth in their provinces.

In response, Deputy PM, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, underscored the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to inclusivity, inviting citizens to openly share their suggestions, opinions, and concerns.

He also reiterated that serving the people across various sectors remains a primary duty and responsibility of IEA officials. He emphasized that both central and provincial authorities are committed to addressing the people’s needs to the best of their abilities.
