Deputy PM Baradar Akhund Reaffirms Commitment to Timely Completion of Qosh Tepa Canal Project
KABUL(BNA): Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has reiterated the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s commitment to completing the Qosh Tepa Canal project within the scheduled timeframe during an inspection visit to the project.
According to the press office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Baradar Akhund praised the efforts of the National Development Corporation (NDC) in constructing the canal.
He also directed the corporation’s employees to ensure that the construction of both the subsidiary and the canal is completed with precision, high quality, and within the set timeframe.
Furthermore, Mullah Baradar Akhund emphasized the significance of the Qosh Tepa Canal for agriculture and water management, stating that the Islamic Emirate is fully committed to completing the project on schedule.
It is noteworthy that the construction of the canal and the second phase of the project are currently progressing well under the supervision of Afghan engineers, creating employment opportunities for thousands of individuals.
