KABUL(BNA): Al-Hajj Nooruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan, participated in the inaugural North-South Transport Trade and Export Forum in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry’s press release, the forum aimed at establishing a North-South transport corridor linking Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.
The discussions focused on the development of railway and road routes, port infrastructure, and other logistics matters.
The event was chaired by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin and attended by representatives from several countries including Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, India, Iran, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, Syria, Turkmenistan, and the UAE.
