Collective Wedding Ceremony in Ghazni Supports 20 Couples

GHAZNI(BNA): A collective wedding ceremony was held for 20 couples, financially backed by national businessman Seyad Gul Ahmad Mutamedi.
The event, which took place recently, attracted families, tribal elders, and dignitaries from the Emirate, highlighting the significance of communal gatherings in Afghan culture.
Mutamedi, who covered the expenses for the entire event, expressed his commitment to alleviating the financial burden on families struggling to afford traditional weddings. “The purpose of organizing this gathering is to assist and support individuals who are unable to cover their own expenses,” he stated.
He emphasized that such collective events not only help reduce the costs associated with weddings but also combat harmful customs and excessive spending that often compel young people to seek financial opportunities abroad.
The event served as a reminder of the power of community and the importance of solidarity in times of need, fostering a spirit of unity among the attendees.
