Cabinet Meeting Discussed Challenges of Cargo Transportation Facilities in Salang Pass

KABUL (BNA): Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, chaired the thirteenth cabinet session, which discussed a variety of national issues.

According to a Prime Minister Office statement, the High Commission for Migrants was instructed in this session to take active steps to address employment, housing, and other challenges of repatriates.

Deputy Public Works Minister Abdul Karim Fatah directed representatives from Kabul’s municipality and the ministries of Transport and Aviation, Rural Development, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and Urban Development and Housing to determine the boundaries and dimensions of highways, sideroads, and internal routes within provinces during the meeting.

Additionally, the Ministry of Public Works was directed by the cabinet to address the challenges of passenger vehicles through the route of Salang highway and provide a thoughtful solution for it.
