Badakhshan Security Authorities Deny Rumors of Pakistani Military Presence in Wakhan

BADAKHSHAN (BNA): Officials from the Badakhshan Police Command have dismissed rumors regarding the alleged presence of Pakistani forces in Wakhan District as baseless.

Ehsanullah Kamgar, the spokesperson for Badakhshan Police, told Bakhtar News Agency that no reports have been received about the presence of Pakistani soldiers in the area.

He assured that security forces are fully prepared to counter any foreign threats along the country’s borders and are paying special attention to maintaining border security.

These remarks come in response to recent rumors suggesting the presence of Pakistani military personnel in the Wakhan region.
