Afghanistan Participates in 28th China Kunming Fair, Showcases National Products

KABUL(BNA) – The 28th China Kunming Import and Export Fair and the 8th China-South Asia Expo have officially opened in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China, featuring participation from an official delegation of the Islamic Emirate and representatives from Afghanistan’s private sector.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Afghanistan showcased its products across various sectors, including carpets, handicrafts, precious and semi-precious stones, saffron, and dried fruits, in 41 booths at the exhibition.

The fair features over 81 participants from Afghanistan, alongside exhibitors from more than 82 countries, displaying their products and innovations for six days.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, led by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, met with Chinese investors and industrialists, sharing investment opportunities in Afghanistan and encouraging them to invest in the country.
