Afghanistan Encourages Investment with New Economic Initiatives

KABUL(BNA): In a recent investment call, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Minister Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, emphasized the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for investors.
He highlighted that the Islamic Emirate has taken significant steps to ensure the growth of both domestic and foreign businesses, reinforcing its dedication to economic development.
Deputy PM Mullah Baradar stated that the Islamic Emirate has prioritized the promotion of domestic products, reflecting a broader strategy to strengthen the local economy. “All necessary facilities have been provided for investors in the country,” he noted, urging both domestic and international investors to consider Afghanistan as a viable investment destination.
He called on potential investors to contribute to the nation’s development, assuring them of the support and resources available to facilitate their endeavors. The commitment to creating a conducive atmosphere for business is seen as a crucial step toward revitalizing Afghanistan’s economy and enhancing the livelihoods of its citizens.
