KABUL(BNA): In a notable diplomatic engagement, Rahmatullah Faizan, Deputy Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recently met with Mohammad Sadeghifar, the Iranian Consul General in Herat.
During the meeting, Faizan discussed the organization of a joint economic committee between Herat and Mashhad and addressed the issues faced by Afghans living in Iran with legal documents.
Meanwhile, Iranian Consul General assured that efforts are being made to resolve the problems of legally documented Afghans in Iran as soon as possible, particularly focusing on preventing their expulsion.
