Acting Minister of Mines Discusses Key Aspects of TAPI Project Implementation with Turkmen Teams

KABUL(BNA): Mawlawi Hidayatullah Badri, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, engaged in a meeting with Murad Amanov, the Executive Director of the TAPI project, and the technical teams from Turkmen Gas and TAPI companies.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, the discussions focused on several critical aspects of accelerating the implementation of the TAPI project.

Key topics included the construction of project camps, the creation of job opportunities for local communities, the provision of educational scholarships for Afghan nationals, the establishment of a gas distribution network in Herat, and the finalization of land acquisition processes.

The Acting Minister assured the Executive Director of the TAPI project of the Ministry’s full commitment to facilitating all necessary support to enhance the efficiency and progress of the project.
