Acting Defense Minister Meets Saudi Ambassador to Kabul

KABUL(BNA): Acting National Defense Minister, Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, met with Saudi Ambassador to Kabul, Faisal Taluq al-Baqmi, at his office today.

During the meeting, Acting Defense Minister expressed his appreciation for the cooperation between the two nations across various sectors.
He emphasized the importance of the resumption of the Saudi embassy’s operations in Kabul, viewing it as a pivotal step in strengthening diplomatic relations.

Ambassador al-Baqmi reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding bilateral relations, highlighting the kingdom’s intent to enhance humanitarian, economic, and political cooperation with Afghanistan.
