Acting Defense Minister Meets Qatar Charge d’Affaires to Kabul

KABUL(BNA): Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Acting Minister of National Defense of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting with Mirdef Alqashouti, the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Qatar in Kabul.

During the meeting, Ministr Mujahid praised Qatar as a “friend and partner country,” highlighting the importance of strengthening and maintaining robust relations between the two the countries.

This meeting follows Mujahid’s previous engagement with the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Afghanistan, indicating a broader effort to foster diplomatic and economic relationships with key regional partners.

Both sides reiterated their dedication to ongoing cooperation and mutual support in addressing shared challenges and opportunities.
