45 Million AFN Salt Refinery Project Set to Launch in Takhar

 

TAKHAR (BNA) A salt refinery is set to be constructed in Taloqan, the capital of Takhar province, at a cost of over 45 million Afghanis.

According to the Bakhtar News Agency, during the inauguration ceremony, Mufti Abdul Rahman Ghaznawi, the head of Takhar’s Industry and Commerce Department, stated that the refinery will be built in the Nahr Chaman area of Taloqan on a four-jerib plot of land. The facility will adhere to modern standards and is expected to be completed within four months.

Mufti Ghaznawi urged investors to establish production factories in various sectors to create employment opportunities for citizens within the country.

During the event, Mohammad Nabi Mansoor, head of the Crystal Asia Salt Refinery, remarked that the facility will have the capacity to produce over 100,000 tons of purified salt annually. He added that the project will provide employment opportunities for dozens of individuals.

Mansoor further emphasized that with security restored across the country, investment opportunities have become more favorable than ever. He encouraged traders and investors to seize these opportunities by investing in diverse fields.

It is worth noting that Takhar is among the provinces rich in mineral resources, particularly salt deposits.
